Q: Where can I find your schedule?
A: Click the schedule button above. Our schedule is also advertised all summer long in all local heimishe newspapers.
Q: How long does the trip between NYC and the Catskills take?
A: Approximately 2 Hours and 25 minutes.
Q: Does your bus service go directly from the Catskills to NYC?
A: No, we will transfer you to a different bus at our depot in Fairoaks (right off exit 118 of Route 17), depending upon your destination.
Q: Does your bus service go directly to the catskills from Flatbush, Boro Park, Williamsburg, Manhattan, Monsey, and Monroe?
A: We have express buses to & from the Catskills, but again - a bus change is necessary at Fairoaks.
Q: Why do I need to transfer at Fairoaks? Wouldn't it be much nicer if I could just go straight to my destination without having to change bus?
A: Sure it would. But in order to provide the fastest service, frequent schedules and most importantly to keep our prices low for you - our customers, we decided a couple of years ago to implement a change of bus so that everything takes much faster. Changing buses is for your convenience, it will get you to your destination in a much shorter period of time.
Why this is so is very simple to understand. One bus leaves from Williamsburg and another from Boro Park at similar times. A third bus leaves from Monsey a little later. The schedule has been set up so that they simultaneously reach Fairoaks, where a fourth bus awaits them. The passengers then divide among these buses, and each bus veers off in a different direction.
The summer camps and bungalow colonies are spread over a huge area. Had each bus gone through the entire Catskill region, the trip for some passengers would have taken 5 or 6 hours, instead of the 2 and a half it currently takes.
Q: How will I know if I need to change bus?
A: Your driver will direct you and help with your lugage if needed.
Q: Do the buses leaving Flatbush & Boro Park stop in Williamsburg?
A: No. The buses leaving Flatbush & Boro Park do NOT stop in Williamsburg, they go direct to the Catskills.
Q: Where can I buy tickets?
A: Tickets can be bought on the bus.
Q: I bought a ticket, but haven't used it yet. When does it expire?
A: You can use your ticket all summer long to and from the Catskills.
Q: Am I entitled to a refund?
A: Unfortunatley we cannot refund tickets.
Q: I traveled with you recently, and was very happy with the service. Where can I leave a note to show my appreciation?
A: We always love to hear from our happy customers! You may leave us a thank-you note here.
